Description
The State of Texas, by and through the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), is seeking a qualified Contractor to perform an independent, evidence-based assessment and provide decision support regarding HHSC’s proposed approach to Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign System (TIERS) 2.0. HHSC’s TIERS is an integrated system for determining and maintaining eligibility for benefit programs such as Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). TIERS was developed in the late 1990s and modernization is needed.
