Description
This K26 Midcareer Investigator Award expands the candidate’s ability to provide excellent mentoring in behavioral diabetes prevention research to diverse early career researchers. Within the context of intensive ongoing research, the award supports comprehensive mentor training and mentee training in health behaviors for diabetes prevention, health equity, maternal health, and implementation science, leveraging unique UC Davis resources and a transdisciplinary team science approach. These activities support the long-term objective of diversifying the research workforce dedicated to diabetes prevention.
