Description
Vagal nerve stimulation therapy has been approved for three central nervous system disorders but large patient trials for heart failure have failed despite promising preclinical evidence of success. The project aims to understand the mechanisms of vagal afferent central transmission to optimize therapeutic protocols for vagal nerve stimulation.
