Description
This project aims to conduct proof-of-feasibility studies to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the siRNA nanoparticle formulation SiFi2 in promoting healing in a rat contusion model of spinal cord injury. Objectives include evaluating recovery of hindlimb locomotor function, bladder, sexual, and sensory functions, characterizing structural and morphological changes at the lesion site using MRI/DTI imaging and immunohistochemistry, and conducting toxicity studies to assess safety.
