Description
The seismic retrofit of Cowen Park Bridge includes the following general items of work: Strengthening of arch ribs, struts, and columns with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP); constructing infill walls, transverse restrainers and link beams; strengthening of cross-beams with concrete bolsters; and partial rebuilding of enclosure pier walls and replacement of expansion joints.
