Description
This project focuses on improving care and outcomes for patients with acute kidney injury through clinical research, data analysis, and intervention development. The COPE-AKI Consortium aims to develop and test interventions to optimize care processes and identify pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic strategies to reduce morbidity among high-risk patients. The research addresses gaps in knowledge regarding management of patients after AKI, develops protocols for clinical trials, and aims to improve patient outcomes and care processes.
