Specialized Center of Research Excellence (SCORE) on Sex Differences, investigating small vessel injury-related inflammation and mediators contributing to heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, cerebral small vessel disease, impaired cognition, Alzheimer dementia and related dementias, frailty and sarcopenia in aging women. The project aims to identify common mechanistic contributions to these conditions to inform future multi-organ preventive aging treatments for women and men.
