Description

The project aims to test whether enhancing the NTN1 signaling pathway can restore the functional capacity of the aging blood system, focusing on rejuvenating aged hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) and their niches. The study will elucidate cellular and molecular mechanisms by which aging of the bone marrow (BM) niche contributes to HSC decline, and validate Netrin-1 (NTN1) as a therapeutic target to improve hematopoietic health span and longevity.
