Description
A research project to conduct foundational research guided by Intervention Mapping Theory to inform the development of a novel emergency department-based deprescribing intervention addressing aspirin use among older adults with bleeding events. The study aims to determine counseling frequency on aspirin use benefits and risks after bleeding events, identify factors associated with absence of counseling, and understand patient perspectives on aspirin use decisions post-bleeding event.
