Description
DEQ is seeking a third-party Contractor to assist DEQ and the USFS in preparing a joint environmental assessment (EA) analyzing the potential environmental impacts of the Stillwater Mining Company's amendment application for Operating Permit No. 00149 authorizing the expansion of the East Boulder Mine Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) in accordance with the Montana Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The EA must comply with MEPA, Section 75-1-101, et seq., Montana Code Annotated (MCA), the Metal Mines Reclamation Act [MMRA] (Section 82-4-301, et seq., MCA), and the Administrative Rules of Montana (ARM) pertaining to MEPA.
