Description
Return pavement to a safe and transverse able condition caused by tree root intrusion. Damage is located at the park at MM 99.1 (approx. 250 square feet or 25 x 10 linear feet). Contractor will mobilize, install (place and compact) new, suitable base material as needed. Mill and overlay the existing failed bituminous surfacing material. They will cut/grind, remove, and discard roots that caused the failure. Repair pavement base with new material and provide compaction. Then repave the approximate 250 square feet of damaged bike path with FDOT mix design SP 9.5, ensuring a level/smooth transition to the existing pathway. Conduct final clean-up and restoration of the construction area. Contractor is responsible for all supervision, labor, permits, materials, equipment, supplies, and cleanup required to complete this job. Payment is upon completion, DEP acceptance, and receipt of itemized invoice. Partial payments are allowed. Additional work due to unforeseen issues will be discussed and quoted. No other Park employee is authorized to approve additional work.
