Description
The County of Merced is accepting proposals for Legal Process Server Services to perform legal service of process of documents for the Merced County Department of Child Support Services (MCDCSS). The services include timely service of process within legal and policy timeframes, compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, confidentiality, service in all California counties and national and international venues, availability during business hours, testimony at court hearings if requested, and use of the CSE E-Process Server for document transmission. The scope also includes specific diligence requirements for service attempts, handling of rush files, skip-tracing, and providing an online tracking system for real-time status updates. The award will be made to the most qualified, responsive, and advantageous bidder to the County, not necessarily the lowest cost.
