METROPOLITAN UTILITIES DISTRICT OF OMAHAOMAHA, NEBRASKA PART A – BIDDING REQUIREMENTS NOTICE TO BIDDERS Metropolitan Utilities District will receive sealed bids at its Purchasing Agent’s Office, MUD Operating Center, 3100 South 61st Avenue (Gate 1), Omaha, Nebraska, 68106 until May 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM. For safety precautions associated with COVID-19, bids will be quarantined for 24 hours at which time, the bids will be publicly opened via telecommunication on May 12, 2020 at 2:00 PM. Note, bidders will not be permitted beyond the vestibule of the Operating Center. A “Bid Drop Box” will be placed in the vestibule in which hand delivered bids may be placed. For the safety and wellbeing of the Public and District employees, the Public may not attend the bid opening in-person as to abide by recommended health and safety precautions for COVID-19.
