Description
The project involves roofing replacement at Utah State Developmental Center and Heather & TLC Buildings. Demolition and replacement of the existing asphalt built-up roofing system and single ply roofing and substrate down to the deck of the Heather and TLC Buildings at the Utah State Developmental Center. Replacement includes all materials and accessories required, including existing roofing layers below surface and all existing cricket insulation down to existing wood deck. Contractor will verify existence of water damaged decking requiring replacement. Assume 15% of deck replacement (to be refunded if not all used). Provide expansion joint cover utilizing TPO membrane with sacrificial layer over the area at eight inches to each side of expansion joint. An alternate includes installation of a new roof access ladder outside the building footprint.
