Description
This project aims to elucidate the mechanisms between the integrated stress response (ISR) and circadian timekeeping in neurons. It explores how circadian rhythms regulate neuronal differentiation, plasticity, and tissue regeneration, and how disruptions contribute to health problems. The research will investigate the role of ISR components such as IMPACT, PERK, and eIF2 in circadian regulation using molecular, cellular, and behavioral approaches with mouse models.
