NIH grant awarded to Stanford University for developing bifunctional molecules for cancer immunotherapy and targeted protein transfer using proximity-based modalities.
Description
This project focuses on the design and construction of bifunctional molecules that bring extracellular proteins into proximity with cell-surface receptors, leading to new biological outcomes that could treat human disease. The research aims to develop novel modalities such as tumor-immune cell targeted chimeras (TICTACs), LYTAC-antibody-drug conjugates (LYTAC-ADCs), and trogocytosis-targeting chimeras (TrogoTACs) for cancer immunotherapy and targeted protein transfer.
