Description
This project studies a genetically engineered mouse model of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) to understand sex differences in cancer progression and to assess the therapeutic potential of androgen receptor (AR) and mTOR inhibition. The research aims to measure the effect of AR signaling on oncogenic traits, define the transcriptional profile of AR in HCC, and evaluate AR inhibition in patient-derived HCC xenografts and mouse models.
