This project investigates how cortical odor processing contributes to social behavior, focusing on the modulation of piriform cortex (PCx) circuits by oxytocin (OT) to enable social recognition. The research aims to understand how social recognition information is encoded in the piriform cortex, how OT modulates social odor processing, and the role of PCx in individualized social behavior.
