Core B supports genomic and microbiome analysis for C. difficile vaccine research, including genome assembly, variation assessment, protein analysis, transcriptional profiling, and data management.

Description

Core B (Genomics Core) will provide support in Clostridioides difficile genome sequence analysis, antigen design, microbiome sequence analysis, statistical analysis, and data management. It will use genomics methods to analyze genome composition, genetic variation, protein structure, DNA inversion systems, and gene activity. It will perform transcriptional profiling on C. difficile from vaccinated and immunodeficient mice to understand immune response mechanisms. The core aims include identifying vaccine targets, assessing variation in vaccine targets, conducting microbiome and transcriptome analysis, and managing data.
