Description
This project aims to build research infrastructure in Côte d’Ivoire, create reusable tools for ongoing research, and generate insights into genetic, environmental, and social factors associated with Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s-Related Dementias (AD/ADRD) to inform prevention and treatment strategies in the U.S. The project involves collaboration between Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and École Nationale de Statistiques et d’Economie Appliquee in Côte d’Ivoire. It includes establishing data collection protocols, developing stakeholder networks, and conducting research on risk factors for AD/ADRD. The project duration is from April 15, 2025, to March 31, 2027.
