Description
This pilot study aims to evaluate whether sex hormone therapy can improve healing and shoulder function in men with low sex hormone levels undergoing rotator cuff repair. It is a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blinded clinical trial involving hypogonadal men aged 40-80 undergoing rotator cuff repair. The study assesses the efficacy of systemic hormone therapy in improving repair outcomes and healing, as well as the feasibility of a larger multi-center trial.
