Description

This project will develop a novel multi-antigen vaccine based on optimized non-integrating lentiviral vectors to induce persistent immune responses against HIV-1. These vectors will durably express both Gag and a stabilized membrane-tethered HIV-1 envelope trimer to promote broad, persistent, and protective immune responses. The study involves immune response analysis in rhesus macaques, combining transcriptomics with flow cytometry, BCR sequencing, and immune cell landscape studies to understand vaccine durability and efficacy.
