The Metropolitan District awarded a contract for emissions stack testing and related environmental services at two water pollution control facilities in Hartford and East Hartford, CT, for a five-year period starting in 2017.

Description

The Metropolitan District (District) is inviting environmental firms with air emissions testing experience to submit formal responses to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and Request for Proposals (RFP) associated with the District’s Hartford Water Pollution Control Facility (HWPCF) three sewage sludge incinerators (SSIs) and non-emergency engines and the East Hartford Water Pollution Control Facility (EHWPCF) non-emergency engine. These professional services may include, but are not limited to, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) air emissions stack testing, incineration technical support and Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEM) testing, auditing and reporting. It is the District’s intent to retain and contract with a qualified firm who will provide support on specific projects for a period of five years (2017-2021).
