Description
This project develops and evaluates SATE (Speech Annotation and Transcription Enhancer), an AI-powered platform that automates Language Sample Analysis (LSA) and delivers multi-layer annotations including transcription, phoneme- and morpheme-level analysis, maze identification, and grammar checking, providing interpretable, interactive reports optimized for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs). The project aims to reduce workload, improve diagnostic consistency, and increase the capacity of SLPs to deliver timely care, expanding access to high-quality speech and language services and advancing public health.
