Research project focused on understanding the interaction between membrane rafts and protein condensates in T cell activation to improve therapeutic strategies for autoimmune diseases and immunotherapy.
Description
This project studies the mutual regulation between membrane rafts and protein condensates in T cell activation, aiming to understand the spatiotemporal regulation of signal transduction in activated T cells. It involves characterizing the biophysical properties of membranes coupled to LAT condensates both in vitro and in live cells, and evaluating the effects of membrane lipid remodeling on LAT condensate properties and downstream T cell signaling.
