Description
Older women with gynecologic cancer receiving chemotherapy experience treatment toxicity, increased frailty, and impaired quality of life. Physical activity may mitigate these effects. This study aims to develop a scalable, efficient physical activity intervention (Fit4Treatment) specifically designed for these survivors to improve their health, quality of life, and survival. The study uses a multi-phase optimization strategy (MOST) clinical trial design to identify effective components of an mHealth physical activity intervention, randomly assigning participants to combinations of intervention components and measuring effects on physical activity, patient-reported outcomes, aging outcomes, and cancer outcomes.
