Description
The Arkansas Research Alliance proposes to hold five annual workshops on bioinformatics to foster collaboration among six major Arkansas institutions: University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, Arkansas State University, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and the National Center for Toxicological Research. The workshops will focus on bioinformatics capabilities including artificial intelligence, big data, machine learning, food and agriculture, high-speed computing, and visualization. The initiative aims to enhance bioinformatics resources, develop coordinated strategies, stimulate interest and expertise, and improve inter-institutional communication.
