Description

Understanding how nature builds new traits is a fundamental goal of evolutionary genetics. This project develops and applies RH-seq, an approach for unbiased mapping of natural trait variation applicable to reproductively isolated species, to study complex genetics of ancient traits in yeast and mouse models. The research aims to advance methods for analyzing polygenic traits differing between species and accelerate dissection of ancient characters across Eukarya.
