This project aims to improve understanding of femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAIS) and its role in hip osteoarthritis. It involves experimental and computational techniques to analyze hip biomechanics, shape, and mechanics in FAIS patients, controls, and positive controls. The study includes in-vivo measurements during dynamic activities and in-silico finite element modeling to assess load transfer and stresses at the hip joint.
