The Utilities Commission, City of New Smyrna Beach, Florida dba New Smyrna Beach Utilities (NSBU) is seeking an Insurance Agent of Record to provide innovative benefit plan design and effective health care choices for approximately 180 full-time employees. The services include Group Health Insurance, Group Dental Insurance, Group Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance, Group Vision Insurance, Long Term Disability Insurance, and Supplemental Insurance such as short-term disability, cancer, accident, hospital confinement, etc. The solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) with an anticipated award date of April 27, 2026. The awardee will enter into a contractual agreement to provide Agent of Record services in accordance with the Scope of Work outlined by NSBU.
