Parks Canada is seeking a Design Build (DB) roofing Contractor to replace three roofs, and design and install solar panels for Parks Canada at their offices in Sidney, BC. The new roof materials will be architectural metal, asphalt shingles, and SBS modified bitumen membrane. The roofing work will be completed by a member of the Roofing Contractors Association of British Columbia (RCABC) and will achieve the 5-year RoofStar Guarantee. The project delivery method is design-build, and the DB roofing Contractor is responsible for sub-contracting a team including an electrical solar panel Contractor, a structural engineer, an electrical engineer, and a third-party observer to complete the scope of work.
