Description
The Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EOEEA) and its supporting agencies currently operates its permitting processes on the legacy online permitting platform. This system supports more than 300 distinct permit types across multiple agencies and programs, ranging from environmental licenses permits and construction authorizations, to pesticide registrations. The current system supports 255 agency internal users and ~175K external users across the full platform environment. While the legacy system has provided a foundation for electronic permitting, it no longer meets the evolving needs of EOEEA, and its stakeholders.
