Description
This project seeks to define the relevant mediators derived from uniquely dysregulated immune cells of patients with persistent COVID19 chemosensory dysfunction, the cellular targets of these mediators and how they disrupt the normal developmental and survival trajectories in the olfactory mucosa. It involves molecular and cellular studies on immune dysregulation in post-COVID19 olfactory dysfunction and aims to identify therapeutic targets for persistent chemosensory dysfunction.
