Description
The project involves demolishing a portion of an existing greenway pedestrian trail to elevate a section to prevent nuisance flooding. It includes installation of four partially buried 12 RCP culvert pipes beneath the elevated trail, a low-height concrete retaining wall on the upstream side to minimize wetland impacts, clearing, grading, removal of unsuitable soils and replacement with foundation conditioning material, new asphalt trail section, and traffic control in accordance with NCDOT and County standards.
