Description
This project focuses on sleep disturbance and impaired circadian thermoregulation as potentially modifiable risk factors for Alzheimer's Disease (AD) in individuals with Down Syndrome (DS). The study aims to test whether baseline sleep apnea severity and body temperature predict AD biomarkers and cognitive decline in DS adults, recruiting 60 DS adults aged 40-60 with normal cognition and following them over 2 years.
