Description

This project aims to elucidate the mechanisms by which subchondral bone contributes to osteoarthritis (OA) pain and to develop targeted therapies to alleviate pain through modulation of bone remodeling and sensory innervation. The study focuses on the role of senescent osteoclasts in inducing subchondral bone cavity and sensory innervation, the elevation of PGE2, and the effect of eliminating senescent osteoclasts and rescuing subchondral bone remodeling on OA pain.
