The award funds the development of a centralized AI-enhanced digital mental health platform to accelerate creation and dissemination of evidence-based therapies, improving access and clinical outcomes.
Description
This project aims to create a centralized platform to support rapid, inexpensive development, testing, and dissemination of evidence-based, AI-enhanced mental health apps. The platform enables scientists to develop, test, and publish apps instantly and at no cost using a web tool. Providers and patients gain access to curated, validated mental health apps tailored to needs, enhancing clinical decision-making and expanding treatment options. The project builds on prior SBIR funding and seeks to transition the technology from R&D to commercial readiness by improving infrastructure, finalizing features, and executing commercialization and regulatory strategies. The goal is to accelerate scientific progress, broaden access, and empower providers to deliver high-quality care, ultimately improving mental health outcomes on a broad scale.
