This project aims to develop new catalytic strategies to create non-proteinogenic peptides to improve GPCR peptide drug development, generate peptide libraries, and advance synthetic chemistry and medicinal peptide chemistry. The research focuses on generating and evaluating libraries of a new GPCR peptide ligand with promising anti-HIV activity, refining chemical methodologies to prepare peptides with multiple non-proteinogenic amino acids and D-amino acids, advancing peptide drug development and antiretroviral drug research.
