Description
The project involves major modernization and focused construction at the Citigroup Biomedical Imaging Center (CBIC) of Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan, New York City. The CBIC is a comprehensive imaging research resource dedicated to developing new biomedical imaging techniques to support investigations in diagnosis and treatment of human disease. The project aims to modernize infrastructure to continue providing a safe, state-of-the-art environment for imaging studies involving human subjects and animal models. Project components include construction of a new PET/CT suite, a modern high-field NMR spectroscopy suite, renovation of the radiopharmaceutical production suite, installation of tank manifolds and supply lines for general anesthesia, and addition of electrical infrastructure to key scanners.
