Description

The project aims to characterize postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) including population characteristics, treatment outcomes, and management practices to generate actionable insights that inform clinical care and quality improvement in both low-resource and U.S. settings. The study is set in N’Djamena, Chad, focusing on high-risk populations and gaps in care delivery, with findings applicable to U.S. maternal health systems. The study includes descriptive analyses, predictive modeling, assessment of treatment outcomes and risk factors, and interviews with care providers to improve risk prediction, treatment pathways, and adherence to evidence-based care.
