Description
This project aims to develop and translate [18F]hGTS13, a radiotracer specific for the amino acid transporter system xc-, to inform on cancer sensitivity to ferroptosis and monitor pharmacological induction of ferroptosis. The project includes establishing [18F]hGTS13 PET as a non-invasive marker in cell culture and preclinical models, and translating it for first-in-human studies to determine pharmacokinetics, biodistribution, and radiation dosimetry.
