Description
Merced County is accepting proposals for DROUGHT PLAN CONSULTANT to develop the Merced County Drought Resilience Plan. The plan will assess vulnerability to drought risk and include recommended actions for drought planning for small water suppliers and rural communities. The project is funded primarily through the California Department of Water Resources County Drought Resilience Planning Assistance Program, with additional funding from the County. The plan aims to improve preparedness and resiliency to drought, explore water shortage risks, consider water system consolidation, develop an action plan with monitoring protocols, and provide policy recommendations.
