Development of AI-assisted photon-counting-detector CT imaging to improve cytogenetic risk prediction and treatment response assessment in multiple myeloma, aiming to replace invasive bone marrow biopsies with noninvasive imaging biomarkers.

Description

This project will develop a new low-dose CT imaging technique to quantitatively identify response to multiple myeloma therapy, stratify cytogenetic risk, and provide prognostic models, which will guide treatment choices. The project aims to establish CT imaging as a noninvasive pathway to measure changes in the activity of multiple myeloma disease after therapy and eliminate the need for routine invasive bone marrow biopsies.
