Automated Bow Number Capture System

The State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR), under the Utah Division of Purchasing, awarded a contract to ARInspect for the provision of an Automated Bow Number Capture System. Description

Contract to provide a system on two launch ramps at Lake Powell Stateline and Bullfrog capable of utilizing cameras to capture bow numbers, Coast Guard vessel names, or other watercraft identifying information of boats both arriving and departing these launch ramps. Records must be input into the shared, Regional ANS WID Database as alpha numeric data by the Contractor within one hour of generation/collection through satellite or cell service uplinks. The Contractor will also provide a camera or similar technology to document Lake Powell associated watercraft at other waterbodies, determined by DWR, to work with AIS Staff to assess watercraft history and status and provide documentation of watercraft visitation during off duty hours.
