This NIH award funds the PHASES project to develop ontologies and a web portal to integrate solitude and gerotranscendence research, promoting healthy aging through semantic enrichment and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Description

Research on solitude and gerotranscendence is siloed, despite significant overlap in the context of older adults. Ambiguous constructs within each field make integration challenging, but also motivate our project "Promoting Health Aging through Semantic Enrichment of Solitude Research (PHASES)" which seeks to integrate these fields by developing ontologies and a web portal to foster innovative research on healthy aging.
