Description
The Program Development Core (B) supports innovative research in developing areas of aging research through six key mechanisms: 1. Peer-reviewed pilot grant program for emerging and established scholars. 2. Mentorship program for pilot recipients. 3. Weekly seminar series with faculty presentations. 4. Monthly Demography of Health and Aging (DOHA) seminar for students, postdocs, and junior faculty. 5. Regular statistical programming and methods workshops. 6. Recruitment of new associates and faculty interested in aging research.
