Description

This project aims to identify novel biomarkers of demyelination and remyelination in multiple sclerosis by studying altered proteins and lipids in tissue-derived and plasma-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) in a mouse model of demyelination. The research uses proteomics analyses to profile EVs isolated from mouse or human tissue to find meaningful biomarkers of the disease process, with the goal of promoting therapeutic strategies for repair and remyelination in MS.
