Description

Labor and Material - Duct Cleaning SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Provide labor and material to clean 9 package units located on the roof, serving the entire Health Center. 2. Supply, return fans and fan housings will be scraped and wire brushed (if needed) to remove debris and grease. They will then be pressure washed with paint safe detergent. 3. All interior walls plenums with liner insulation will be brushed and vacuumed by hand. All unlined metal walls and plenums will be vacuumed and washed with a mild detergent. 4. Coils, evaporators, hot or cold will be coated with a product recommended by the manufacturer and then pressure washed. Cleaning will be repeated as needed until blockages are eliminated and rinse water appears clean. 5. Provide labor and material to clean all supply and return ducts serving the Glendale Health Center. 6. Access holes will be made in ducts for cleaning purposes (as needed). They will be sealed with galvanized sheet metal panels of the same or heavier gauge metal as the duct. They will be installed and sealed with duct sealant. They will be screwed onto the duct at four inch maximum on center, all around as required to maintain an airtight seal. 7. Flex ducts will be disconnected for cleaning purposes and reconnected in original manner after cleaning, if there are any flex ducts. (Note: If any flex ducts are currently damaged or can be damaged by touch, it will be reported immediately.) 8. All supply and return registers will be r removed and cleaned with a mild detergent and placed back to the original manner. 9.Remove all existing filters to vacuum and wash all filter frames and replace air filters if they are provided by ISD at the time of the cleaning.
