Description
JCPS has a subcontractual agreement with Rutgers to serve as the Training, Implementation and Evaluation Core for the proposed grant. School Mental Health Implementation Director, a licensed clinical psychologist, will provide supportive oversight of the Bridges to Resilience grant, which is being led by Jersey City Public Schools (JCPS). The Implementation Director's primary role will be to support the evaluation effort implementation of knowledge gaining training and consultation efforts by the schools and partnering clinics into practice and support maintenance of key collaborations. An experienced implementation scientist with extensive experience with schools and community clinics implementing school mental health and trauma programs, Dr. Nadeem will help JCPS support implementation, collaborative evaluation methods, and work with JCPS staff and partners to plan for program sustainment. Dr. Graybill has a history of providing technical assistance to school districts in Georgia through the Georgia Department of Education's SAMHSA-funded Project AWARE grants, supporting districts to implementation of universal screening for mental health and integrating cultural competence into school-based programs.
