Description
The purpose of this Sole Source procurement is to acquire the FAAC transit bus simulator system and related services identified as part of Georgia State University’s FTA Low-No grant project. FAAC was included as a project partner in the grant application to support the workforce development and training requirements associated with the University’s transition to battery-electric buses. The simulator will provide bus operators with advanced hands-on training in a controlled environment, including vehicle operations, safety procedures, emergency scenarios, and preparation for the operational changes associated with battery-electric bus technology.
